Double your Adsense CTR

I recently tried to remove the sidebar from all post pages, to see if this would make people more likely to stay on the actual post.The results showed me that although it didn’t have much of an effect on affiliate marketing, it had a huge effect on adsense.

I couldn’t believe it. My adsense CTR has shot way up since I removed my sidebar. My adsense CTR is well above 10% and my eCPM is over $50 per thousand visitors.

How to remove your sidebar

1. Go to wordpress cpanel
2. Design –> Theme Editor –> Single Post (single.php)
3. Remove: <?php get_sidebar(); ?>
