I’ve always talked about making money by dominating the search engine market. People love making money through search engine marketing, which is paying for targeted traffic. What I teach (and what I live by) is optimizing your website to get free targeted traffic.

Make money on eBay

Here’s where I’m going with this. I recently read a terrific post on how to make money on ebay. I read this post and I got thinking about BANS (build a niche store). This thing is all over the internet as one of the best ways to make money using ebay.

I’ll explain BANS step by step in my next post, but it relies on search engine traffic coming to your website. Not search engine marketing, ORGANIC traffic. You need that organic traffic to make any money.

Make money with search engines

If you’re paying for your traffic, you’re losing out. If you can drive the affiliate searches for these ebay products to your site for free by ranking at the top of google, then you’re making a profit with minimal expenses.

This works with other affiliate programs too. I’ve seen this applied to a hip hop niche where someone was making money off of rap beats. The point is, no matter what niche we’re talking about, you should be out there dominating the search engine market.

Programs to make money on ebay

The site I read also had plenty of interesting programs to make money on ebay. We always think of ways to make money using our websites, but making money on ebay can be as easy as starting your own ebay business.

Of course, starting a new business has its own perks and challenges, but you should read more about it, if you’re interested in earning an income on ebay.

A new fad for plenty of blogs in the web promotion industry seems to be posting up income reports. I figured I’d share how much money I’m making for two reasons: 1) Show users how I’m bringing income in and 2)Keep track of how well this site is doing.

Google Adsense Income: $32

Affiliate marketing income: $328

Total blog income = $360

I know $360 is not the biggest income haul you’ve ever seen, but I need to point out that this blog had only 3,000 visitors in May. So that makes that the blog has an eCPM of $120. How many blogs can say that?

This is thanks to several things. First of all, getting tips from an internet marketing service and affiliate marketing articles such as the one about Brian Wynn’s millionaire league.

I make money automatically

The last thing I’ll point out is this: I only made two blog posts in May. Two new blog posts and I still brought in $360. Thats $180/new post! More income reports to come soon.
