Organize your business feeds
A friend of mine, Ram Sharma recently launched his new website b2logs.com, a business news network that organizes RSS feeds.
Other than being a useful tool for your business RSS feeds, b2logs is a great case study. This is a great way to make a site (and generate income) without any of your own content. Using good design skills to throw together RSS feeds is a smart idea that should prove to bring in some good cash.
The addition of a blog to the site is a nice touch, since Google loves the fresh content coming from a blog. The blog also means the site has one source of unique content. Note the site’s multiple streams of income: adsense for SEO traffic, amazon books and clickbank for visitors who stick around longer.
Some additions still to be made: the front page should be updated to either include the blog or be an attractive splash page. There is still significant SEO issues to overcome, like using images for the tabs instead of text and the lack of h1 and h2 tags.
